アルバム『レックス』で6曲連続トップ20入りを果たしたカナダ出身のロッカー,ブライアン・アダムス。デビュー・アルバムから『レックス』までの4枚が一挙にCDで登場した。セカンド・アルバム『ジェラシー』あたりでは,ブルース・スプリングスティーンに似たサウンドを耳にすることができる。2,3,4作目のプロデュースにクレジットされているクリアマウンテンはかつてブルースのサポートをしたことがあるせいかもしれないが,『レックレス』に至ってはブライアン独自の世界を作ることに成功している。ハード・ドライビングなナンバーやワイルドなタッチがこの人には似合う。一枚買うならやはり『レックレス』。

間違いなくブライアン・アダムスの最高傑作に
して80年代を代表する1枚だと思います。これ
でもかってぐらいロックしてます。10曲全て
満点をあげれる出来ですが、やはりHeavenが
一番の聴き所だと思います。後はティナ・ターナー
とのデュエット曲It's Only Loveもいいです。
そして最後の曲の終わり方がまたカッコイイｗ

　個人的には「ワンナイト・ラブアフェアー」と「ヘブン」に当時、はまっていました、とにかくブライアンの独特なしわがれたようなハスキーボイスが最高でした、しかし最近年を重ねたせいか、郷愁の念が増したのか定かではないが「サマー・オブ　'６９」が一番好きです、ドライブしながらこの曲聴くと、もうノリノリです、いつまでも色あせることのない不朽の名作です

ブライアン・アダムスといえばこのアルバムでしょう。彼はカナダ出身だけど何となくアメリカン・ロックそのものみたいな感じがします。「Summer Of '69」、「Heaven」、「Run To You」の3曲が特に好き。今でもiPodに入っています。（●＾O＾●）
