以前DTS-CDでも発売されていたタイトルですが新たにSACDになり、より高音質なマルチチャンネルが楽しめます。

聞きどころは「De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da」。
マルチで聞くと、スタジオで生録中にその場にいるような
独特の雰囲気が楽しめます。（SACD？なにそれ？という人をビックリさせるのに最適）

音質はDTSも良かったのですが、高音の伸びはなめらかに伸びていき圧縮音声にある独特なクセもSACD版にはありません。

メジャーな曲も多いのでSACDを体験するのに最適なディスクだと思います。

若い頃に何度も聞いた曲が満載なので郷愁感がどっと襲ってきました．「Every Breath You Take」だけでなく，「Message In A Bottle」も「De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da」もいいですね．今聞いてもまったく遜色ない出来．初めて聞いた時の衝撃を思い出しました．今のスティングもいいけど，やっぱりポリスはよかったな~と再確認させてくれる．これからも大事にしたい一枚．

本作品は持っていませんが、８６年に解散がうわさされた中発表された。古いバージョンを私は持ってます。

現在までポリスを離れたスティングの作品をいくつか聞いてはいますが、ポリスに出会った時のような衝撃は今まで感じていません、やはり彼はポリスでのパフォーマンスが最高だと今でも思っています。シンプルな三人編成ですが、ものすごいエネルギーを私は感じます。なので解散した情報を聞いたときは寂しかった思い出があります。彼らのナンバーを聴くたびいつか復活を願っている今日この頃です。
