　私はエクストリームというバンドをあまりよく知りません。
　私はヌーノというプレイヤーをあまりよく知りません。
　私はハードロックの歴史をあまりよく知りません。
　なぜなら私は根っからのスラッシュメタルファンだからです。
　そんな私でも『Warheads』を聴いた時…　『Color Me Blind』を聴いた時…　『Tragic Comic』を聴いた時…　えもいわれぬ興奮を覚えました。
　すごく綺麗なメロディなのにとても力強く、力強いのにとても優しい。何ともいえぬ感動を貴方も味わってみてはいかがでしょうか（あくまでエクストリーム初心者向けのコメントですのでご了承ください）。

ヌーノベッテンコートさんのギターにはまったくもってはまってしまいます。
私は基本的にノリの良い曲が好きなので、やっぱり、War heads。
あまりのかっこよさに楽譜を買ってきて自らで弾きたくなってしまうくらいノリの良い曲で、この1曲に1000円を払っても問題ないくらいです。
耳に残るヘドバンしたくなってしまうリフに、凝った内容がなんとも素敵です。

聞き所はやはりソロの後、であると思います。
勿論ソロもかなり良いのですが、
その後のサビ部分でのギター動きまくりの所があまりにも印象的で感動しました。
しかしそれ以外にも、Cupid's DeadやPeacemaker Dieも聞き所です。
あとは転調の多いAm I Ever Gonna Changeとか大好きです。
聞き込めば聞き込むほど発見できる、私は大好きなアルバムです。

　たしかに音楽的に優れたアルバムだと思う。３部作に分けられた構成もなかなか楽しめる。演奏も素晴らしい。・・・のだが、前作セカンド「ポルノグラフィティ」が強烈なほどクオリティが高かった為、どうしても地味に感じてしまう。後半はミディアム調な曲が続く為、それは増すばかり・・・。「モア・ザン・ワーズ」から入った人も、そうでない人もちょっと中途半端な印象を受けるのではないかと思われるアルバム。しかし、それはあくまでも「ポルノグラフィティ」と比較してのことであって、曲は決して悪くはない。注目は何と言っても「キューピッズ・デッド」だろう。今まで聴いたこともないようなスタイルの曲だった。ゲイリーのラップ調（ラップではないだろうが・・・）のボーカル、それに絡み合うポールのかっこいいリズムがキマッたドラム、パットのぶりぶりのベース・・・そしてもちろんヌーノのあの超人的なギター・プレイ！ソロのパートのカッコよさといったら・・・！初めて聴いたときは鳥肌が立ったくらいだ。このアルバムが発表された後のツアーも観に行ったのだが、「キューピッズ・デッド」がプレイされたときは、もの凄い盛り上がりだった。ヌーノのギター・プレイにはただ、ただ唖然とするばかりだった。「ウォーヘッズ」、「トラジック・コミック」、「ストップ・ザ・ワールド」などもなかなかの力作。これらを含め全体的にメッセージ色が強いアルバムとなっているのも特徴。
