このシングルはタイトル曲が名曲中の名曲なので・・それだけでもう素晴らしいのですが、それだとアルバムを買えばいい・・と思ってたら大間違い。Ｂ面集の「マスタープラン」にも入ってない＃４は、カヴァー曲ですがノリが良くかなりキャッチーな名曲だと思います。オアシスのカヴァーはいい曲が多いですね。なぜこの曲がマスタープランに入らなかったのか不思議でなりません

オアシスの数ある名曲の中で、これをベストにあげる人が多いのでは。はじめのイントロで、「ん、どこかで聞いたような・・・」と感じてしまいますが、先人たちをリスペクトしつつ、かれらの「うた」にしてしまうところが、オアシスの強みでしょう。何度聞いても自然に口ずさんでしまいます。ライブでリアムにも歌って欲しいものです。

oasis（オアシス）の国内では6枚目のシングル。

ノエルがメインボーカルとなっている曲としては初めてA面扱いとなったのがこの「Don't Look Back In Anger」
今でもライブでは大定番の名曲であり、リアムは本当はこの歌を歌いたかったらしい。
ライブでこの曲が演奏される時のライブ会場の雰囲気は本当に最高！！

2曲目の「Step Out」もノエルがメインボーカルの曲。
軽快なビートとノエル節のナイスメロディで構成されており、後にライブで演奏される事も多くなった隠れた名曲の一つである。

3曲目の「Underneath The Sky」は僕の個人的なoasisのB面ランキングで1位にランクインする名曲中の名曲。
メロディの美しさは特筆すべきものがあるし、アレンジ面でのコーラスワークや、ギターのエフェクトに至るまで全てがツボ。
ライブで演奏されたことは皆無に近いのだが、ぜひともライブで聴いてみたい一曲である。

4曲目の「Cum On Feel The Noize」はSlade（スレイド）が1973年に発表した名曲のカバー曲である。
oasis自身もお気に入りの一曲の様で、Morning Glory時代のライブではこの曲がラストに演奏される事が多かった。
