ジャーニーは数々の素晴らしいアルバムを作ってきましたが当アルバムが自分は１番好きです

スティーヴ・ペリーは作った曲全て大切で子供の様に思うと語っていましたが中でもSend Her My Loveが気に入っているとも語っていました
製作者本人が言っているのだから名曲中の名曲なのでしょうね

ジャーニーの数有る名曲郡の中から１つ選ぶのは難しいのですが・・・
Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)を選びます
イントロでやられて．ボーカルでやられて．ギターでやられます
とにかく完成度の高い超名曲に間違いないと確信しています
１度聴けば印象に残るインパクトの強い楽曲です
オープンアームズか当曲からジャーニーファンになった方も多いのではと思います

黄金期の５人が織り成す素晴らしいアルバムなので捨て曲は１曲も有りません

特筆すべきはスティーヴ・ペリーのボーカルだと思います
本当に本当に素晴らしいです
後世に残る名シンガーだと思います

あの歌声にやられた方も多いと思います
ソウルフルな声．変幻自在のボーカルスタイル．歌唱力と何を取っても文句の付け様が有りません

世の音楽評論家の方「ジャーニーを悪く言わないで欲しい」
素晴らしい曲を書いて歌って売れて何が悪い！売れて当たり前
悪い意味合いでの産業ロックという言葉には当てはまらないと思う

当アルバム是非購入して下さい
間違いなく素晴らしいです

現在私は高校生ですが昔の洋楽にはまっています。
父からジャーニーを教えてもらったので買ってみました。
聴いてみるとクリアなヴォーカルに透き通るようなギター、心を躍らせるメロディー・・・一発で虜になってしまいました。
今時の曲とは一味違う曲でとても楽しめます！

　６００万枚以上を売り上げる驚異的なヒットを記録した前作『Escape』から２年の歳月を経て発表された'83年作。前作の勢いもそのままにハードでメロディアスなサウンド・スタイルを熟成させた完成度の高いアルバム。マイケル・ジャクソンの『スリラー』の陰に隠れて，ビルボード誌のアルバム・チャートは最高位２位どまりだったが（但し，９週連続２位は凄い），完成度という点では『Escape』を上回っているかもしれない。
特筆すべきは，冒頭の２曲。ハードだがメロディアスでドラマテッィクに展開するアップテンポの「Separate Ways（Worlds Apart)」は，マイナー調のメロディーラインがカッコいい。続く「Send Her My Love」は，美しくも悲しいキーボードの旋律と幻想的なギターサウンドの組み合わせが絶妙なバラード。これに続くのは，へヴィーなギターソロに導かれて始まる疾走感のある「Edge of The Blade」か。ケインのキーボードが加わるサビの部分はハードだがメロディアスで琴線に触れる。美しいピアノの旋律で幕を開けるスロー「Faithfully」では，ソウルフルなスティーヴのヴォーカルが映える。インストゥルメンタル志向の強いタイトル曲や，爽快なギターサウンドと伸びやかなスティーブのシャウトが印象的な「Rubicon」もいい。
　このまま王道を突き進むかに見えたジャーニーだが，残念ながら次作以降急激に失速してしまう。その意味では本作は彼らのピークにあたる最高の充実作かもしれない。
