　目当てのrelight my fireがまさかインストversionとは。いや正確にはちょっとだけヴォーカル入りですが。
　ＳＦチックなイントロがくっついているのは知っていましたが、いつまでたってもrelight...のヴォーカルが聞こえてこない。演奏時間５分を過ぎた頃、「もしかして・・・これって・・・カラオケ？」と、目が点になりました。いや、Loleatta Hollowayをフィーチャーした部分がカッコいいのは重々承知ではありますが、ヴォーカルがそこだけっていうのは本当に、ちょっと古いけど「きいてないよ！」ってかんじでした。
　自分用に買ったならともかく、友達へのプレゼントにしたので、かなり情けない思いをしました。

　メガヒット曲を聴きたい素人はディスコミュージックのコンピレーションアルバムを聴けということなのでしょうか。他の曲もすごく素敵なだけに、ショックが大きいです。せめてインストバージョンとか書いといてくれ。
　relight my fireは既に他の音源で持っている、という人向けです。最後に、とってつけたような誉め言葉で申し訳ないですが、他の曲はとてもすばらしいです。

ダン・ハートマンといえば映画「ストリート・ファイヤー」からの全米No.1曲「あなたを夢みて」でその存在を知った方が多いと思うが、劇中黒人グループが歌っていたその曲はダン・ハートマンの歌唱によるもの・・・黒人顔負けなソウルフルな白人アーティストです。このアルバムを聴くまで知らなかったのですが、ジェイムス・ブラウンによりヒットした「リビング・イン・アメリカ」もダン・ハートマンが書いた曲だったのですね。このCDではハートマンがジェイムス・ブラウンも真っ青なソウルフル＆ファンキーなパフォーマンスを披露しております！このCDに収録の「あなたを夢みて」は約６分に及ぶ、ご機嫌なリミックス・ロング・ヴァージョンです！ダン・ハートマン・・・本当に才能溢れる人だったのですね

なんでこんなに才能ある人があんまり知られてないのか不思議です。本当に
このＣＤ最高ですよ。最初から最後まで一曲もハズレがないＣＤってなかなか
出会えないですけど、毎日聞いてて本当に飽きないし、「Free Ride」なんか
車に乗ってる時なんて最高です！（私は免許ないんで自転車（笑））コー
ラスと一緒に「♪free ride~」って自然に口ずさんじゃいます。本当に買って損ないと思います！
私、もう１枚このＣＤ買おうかどうか考えてるくらいです☆

でもRelight my fireに歌が入ってないことだけが残念です・・・。そこさえ直れば言うことないのになぁ…。
