産業ロックと呼ばれる根城で
活躍してきたミュージシャン（１名違うが）の
集まりなので、アホな曲を作ろうはずがありません。
前作は大ヒットしましたが、音質の良さなどから
僕は、こちらの方が好きです。

大人ムード全快のアメリカンロックといった感じです。
それに１曲１曲が、かなり計算されて作られているのか
前作でヒットした曲の良いところは
確実に受け継ぎながら、さらに進化しています。
前作を聞いた方なら、２曲目、４曲目あたりを聞けば
分かると思います。

全１０曲とボリュームが少ないですが
その分前作の内容より、洗練され確実に聞きやすく
なっていると思いますよ。
前作を気に入った方は是非、チェックしてみて下さい。

デビュー作の大成功から二年、バッド・イングリッシュは帰ってきた。が、このアルバム製作当時、既にバンドは分裂寸前。なんとか産み落としてくれた遺作です。後のインタビューによるとメンバー間の確執は結構なものだったようですが、作品の方は、そんなゴタゴタを全く感じさせない素晴らしさで、歴史的名盤である1stに引けを取らない傑作中の傑作です。のっけからキャッチーな1に続き、伝説的な名曲2！この流れで既にノックアウト寸前。続く3は一転大人な雰囲気の佳曲で、4はダイアン・ウォレンがらみ…。前半だけでもこんな具合に、捨て曲は一切なし！その後も1同様のハードポップ6、感動の嵐吹き荒れる魂のバラード79！！そしてそれらの名曲を、稀代の名ヴォーカル、ジョン・ウェイトが時に切なく、時に淡く、まるで傍らの恋人に語り掛けるように口ずさむ。ジョンの歌唱には全くスキが無くて、歌詞カードを持ちながらその歌声を辿っていけば、細かな息遣いだとか、声の使い分けだとか、感情表現が実に見事なんです。上手いヴォーカルは沢山いるでしょうが、彼ほど詩的な歌を聴かせてくれる人は滅多にいません。聴いたことの無い人は、是非聴いてみてください。このアルバムは、そしてジョンの歌声は、一生の宝になるに違いありませんよ。

　米国出身のハード・ロック・バンドの、’９１年発表の２nd。
　NEAL SCHON、JONATHAN CAINという元JOURNEYのメンバーを中心に結成されたバンドで、JOURNEYとは異なりキーボードの出番は控え目で、その分、ギターが力強く鳴っている、正統派ハード・ロックのスタイルだ。
　外のメンバーも実績、実力ともに申し分なく、質は高い作品である。
　が、それ以上の魅力に欠けている。楽曲はミドル・テンポがほとんどで、アレンジもやや似通っており、全体的には単調だ。
　いわゆる“スーパー・グループ”と呼べるバンドだと思うが、期待が大きいとしても、それに見合った内容とは少々言い難い。
　本作をもってバンドは解散。やはりスーパー・グループというのは難しいのだろうか。
