90年にリリースされたシアトルのバンドSANCTUARYの2nd。
よじれるようなリフをザクザクと刻み込むが、サビのメロディはキャッチーというメタルファン泣かせの1枚。
リズム隊がタイトで、バンド全体でリフを刻み込むモダンなサウンド。ギターソロでは泣き所もあり、ボーカルもデス声ではなく、ハイトーンボーカルで謳いあげる。
このアルバムの翌年には、同じくシアトルからデビューしたNIRVANAによるグランジムーブメントでメタルシーンは一挙に衰退し、SANCTUARYも活動を停止した。
「へビィメタル失われた10年」の直前に生れた、20世紀メタルの墓標のひとつ。名盤です。

がんがん攻めていくギターのリフ。曲つくりもうまい。忘れ去られているすばらしいバンド。たたみかけていくアグレッシブな音楽性はまる
ボーカルもいいんでやっぱ。再評価されてよいバンド。
