ハノイロックスの最高傑作といわれている作品で、これがラストアルバムに、なってしまい、まもなく彼らは解散してしまった。解散の理由は、モトリークルーのヴィンスニールの飲酒運転による事故によって、助手席に乗っていたハノイロックスのドラマーであったラズルが死亡した事だった。このアルバムの音作りは、彼らの作品の中では一番ヘビーだとおもう。名盤の一つで、買って後悔しない。

中学生だった頃、聴きまくったハノイ、CCRのカバーから始まり、個人的に一番好きなBoiler、ラストのCutting Cornersまで捨て曲もなく最高傑作。ファーストから通して聴くと（録音状況や演奏力も含めて）バンドとして、アンディの作曲家として、の成長が感じられて感動します。このアルバムを聴いてギターを買った事を思いだしました。

７０年代頃からロックって商業化してきて、８０年代は商業的産業の全盛期だったのよね。別に悪いとは思わないけど、誰でもそこそこの力があれば一度は天下をとれる・・・云わば「一発屋」が多いのが特徴なのよね。でも、こやつらは聴いてわかるように“芯”があるのよね。デビューアルバムの荒削りからの進歩が顕著に表れているのよさっ。荒いのも良いんだけどね・・・ほんまもんのスピリッツを体感出来る一枚よねん！
