苦節10年を経てようやく飛び出した大ヒット作『禁じられた夜』の勢いもそのままに'82年にリリースされた本作。まず，前作と続き物になっているジャケット・デザインが笑える。『禁じられた夜』で不倫の舞台となったホテルの一室。翌朝，従業員が清掃にやって来て見たものは荒れ放題の部屋。「夕べは派手にやったみだいだね」とぼやく声が聞こえてきそうである。
アルバムの冒頭を飾るのは大ヒット曲「Keep The Fire Burnin'」。いかにも陽気でお気楽なアメリカン・ロックである。ただ，個人的には続く「Sweet Time」を推したい。ハイトーンのコーラスが爽やかで美しいバラードで胸に染みる１曲。バラード調の落ち着いた歌い出しから一転して軽快なＲ＆Ｒに転調する「I'll Follow You」や「The Key」，さわやかなアメリカン・ロック「Back In My Heart Again」もいい。そして，とどめはジャーニーあたりがやってもおかしくないような「Stillness Of The Night」。ドラマティックでハードなＲ＆Ｒで，カッコいいの一言に尽きる。
『禁じられた夜』と同様に是非聴いていただきたい快作。

最高です。僕が洋楽にはまった、きっかけになったバンドであります。ほとんどの曲が　シングル．カットしてもおかしくない内容。はっきりいって、この人達は、ベストで買うより　オリジナル．アルバムで持っていた方が,よいです。特に1曲目　5曲目は、超おすすめ。

'82年作（7位）。
前作の大成功を受け継ぐポップなアルバムで、
前作以上に明るく、爽快なロックをしている。
その証拠に、1、2曲目は、それぞれシングル・カットされ、
Top40ヒット（前者7位、後者26位）となった。
それ以外の曲では、当時のメイン・ソングライターである
Kevin、Gary、Bruceが、それぞれ異なる作風を示しており、

ポップさの目立つ中で、それなりに起伏を帯びた感があります。
個人的には、Garyのアコギ、エレギが前面にでたナンバーと、
bruceのロックンロール・ナンバーがお気に入り。
前作の成功の影に隠れて、評価は低いが決して悪くなく、
古き良きアメリカン・ロックの名盤かと思います。
