１９７８年リリースのテッドニュージェント人気絶頂時のライブアルバム・・・ＣＤ２枚組と言うことでボリュームたっぷりの内容です。テッドは日本では人気ないですが（ダムヤンキースは人気ありましたが・・・）、本国アメリカでは凄い人気を誇っています・・・ヴァンへイレン加入前のサミーヘイガーと同類です（笑）。メンバーは、テッド（Ｇ・Ｖｏ）・デレクセントホルムズ（Ｇ・Ｖｏ）・クリフデイヴィーズ（Ｄｒ）・ロブグランジ（Ｂ）・・・オジーオズボーンのようにバンドとして機能しています。まさか後にデレクが、マイケルシェンカーに絡んでくるとは思いませんでした。ＣＤ１は１９７６年、ＣＤ２は１９７７年のライブを収録・・・収録年は違いますが、トータルとしての擬似ライブ体験が出来る仕!!上がりです。聴きものはなんと言っても後半３曲「ワングタングスイートプータン」「キャットスクラッチフィーバー」「モーターシティマッドハウス」の３連発は最高です・・・代表曲を持つミュージシャンは当然ライブは大盛り上がり大会！！アメリカンハードロックのすべて名曲ですよ！！Ｇｉｂｓｏｎのセミアコでここまでロックするミュージシャンは他にはいません・・・本当かっこいい！！

'７８年発表、テッドのパワー全開ライブ、呆れるぐらいストレートなハードロックンロールで男気あふれる、男のためのロックアルバムです。
アルバム聴き終わった後、なぜか心拍数が増大して、女にはわからないであろう種類の情緒的な感慨がこみ上げてきます。
一晩で作ったような簡単で分かりやすい楽曲（失礼）ですが、ギターを派手に弾きまくるテッドのエネルギーがあまりにも強烈なので、聴き手のアドレナリンを完全に放出させてしまいます。
とくにディスク２の後半、これでもかと、たたみ掛けるような超ハードドライブな楽曲と演奏が連続し、鳥肌が立ちそうになります。
