彼の声が好きです。
声が透き通っていて、聞きやすいです。
歌詞カードが付いていないので何て歌っているんだろーと聞いています。
何度も聞いていると歌に込められている気持ちが少しずつ理解できたようです。
曲のほとんどが牧歌的で、ゆっくりと時間が流れているような気持ちになります。

また、アメリカの自然が想像できます。

ジャガイモやトマトなどの野菜を思い浮かべたり、
草原を走る馬を思い浮かべたり、空を飛んでみたい気持ちになりました。
「Take Me home, Country Road」では故郷に帰りたいと
強く願う気持ちが伝わってきました。
そして、子守唄や、オルゴールを聞いているかのように心が落ち着くのは何故だろう？

悲しいかな、彼は飛行機事故で亡くなられています。

いい曲ばっかです。とくにTake Me Home Country Roadsは「耳をすませば」にも使われてるほど、いい曲です。なんかきいてると懐かしい感じがしてきます。

この、『Take Me Home Country Roads』を買おうと思ったきっかけは
映画『耳をすませば』を見て、この曲を耳にしたからです。
この曲を聴いているとなんだか懐かしい気持ちになれます。
自分は受験生なのですが、この曲を聴けば疲れも吹き飛びます！
『The Very Best Of John Denver』もお薦めです。
