ダン・スウォノ率いる、スウェーデン産の４作目です。メロディック・デス・メタルの名盤として紹介されているのを見かけたことがあります。リリースは９４年ですが、私は最近になってようやく手に入れて聴いてみましたが、デス・メタルらしい突撃感覚を失っていない煽情力のあるギター・ワークは絶品！素晴らしいです。聴きこめば聴きこむほど大事になりそうなアルバム。デス・メタルが好きで未聴の方は是非とも一度、聴いていただきたい作品です。

このバンドは確か4作まとめて日本デビューでしたね。
この当時はデスメタルにメロディは邪道とかいう風潮が少しずつ消えかけてきた頃だったと思いますが、デスメタルの中にメロディックな部分があると言うのではなく、見事なまでにこの相反するものを融合させてしまったという感じの作品。
個人的にはカーカスのハートワークと同じぐらいにメロディック・デスメタルの重要作品だと思います。
