あまり声価の高い作品ではないですが、個人的には産業メタル的に路線変更してからのアルバムの中では、名盤「LICK IT UP」と同じくらい好きな作品です。ただ、15曲はどう考えても多いと思います。いくらいい曲が多いとは言え、集中力が持続しません。ジャケも好きになれません。ってことで★★★★です。

あまり評価が薄いこの１枚なかなかのできだと思います。
Ｒｉｓｅ　ＴＯ　Ｉｔで始まり名曲のＦｏｒｅｖｅｒ（マイケルボルトンと共作？）
を含むこのアルバムいいですよ。Hide Your Heartもお気に入りです。
なぜかＩＰｏｔだとこのアルバムのジャケットダウンロード出来ないのですが、
それほど存在薄いの？スフィンクスがまずいのかな？ほんとのＫＩＳＳファンなら判りますよね。
どーですか？皆様。

KISSのアルバムの中では地味な印象があるのですが、実に質の高い曲が詰まっています。Hide Your Heartは今聞いても絶品。ニューヨークのギャングの物語で、ティノとジョニーという二人の男の子が一人の女の子ローザを奪い合った挙句にティノがジョニーを殺してしまうという話なんですが、当時作られたこの曲のビデオで完璧にその物語が再現されています。ラブソングのForeverは、愛する人にこんなこと言われたいと思わせるような曲。それからエリックが歌ってるLittle Caesarってかなりかっこいいと思います。基本的にミディアムテンポの良い曲ばかりなので、もっと評価されてよいアルバムだと思います。ポールの美声はこの頃ほぼ完成形になったのではないかな。それと忘れてはいけないのがブルースのギター。いつもポールとジーンが気持ちよくプレイできるように、目立たずとも一流のテクニックでギターを弾いている彼は本当にすばらしい。結論、4人のチームワークで作り上げた秀逸な作品です。
