サウンドプロダクション／テクニック／楽曲、と全てを超一流でこなしているにも関わらず、過小評価されていて残念です。「トゥナイト・アイム・フォーリング」なんかは、ドラマの主題歌に使われても違和感無いぐらい、ポップで美しいメロディーの曲なのですが・・。

どれも、透明感のある美しいメロディーの粒ぞろいの曲ばかりで、それらをロニー・ル・テクロのテクニカルで少し変わったハーモニーのギターが旨い具合に良い味付けをしています。

荘厳な雰囲気の一曲目、ファンクロック的なギターリフの二曲目、メロディーを聞かせる三曲目、とアルバム構成も見事です。八曲目では、ロニーのリードボーカルも聞けます。

文句無しに、５つ星です。

　ロニー・ル・テクロのトリッキーなギターと、トニー・ハーネルのクリスタルな高音。ヨーロッパと並ぶ、北欧メタルの旗手。TNT の代表作だ。T.N.T.＝トリ・ニトロ・トルエン＝爆薬、のイメージとは180度異なる、清涼感のあるヘヴィ・メタルで、代表曲の殆どはラヴ・ソングである。

　「インテュイション」という言葉があまり一般的ではなかったことから、フォノグラムから最初発売された時は「〜直感」という副題が付けられていた。当時の限定盤には、ボーナス曲「エレクトリック・ダンサー」も含まれていたらしい（ベスト盤「Till Next Time」で聴くことができる）。

　実はこちらも名作と云われる前作「Tell No Tales」で作風を確立。本作でも、そのサウンドを100％引き継いでおり、キャッチーな名曲がずらりと並ぶ。タイトル曲は特に日本で人気がある他、ノリの良い「Take Me Down (Fallen Angel)」も良い。

　リーダー・トラックは3曲目の「Tonight I'm Falling」。♪時に言葉は愛を惑わせるから ♪このまま黙って歩こうよ ♪今宵僕は君の元に降り立つよ ♪君を導く光になるんだ …という優しさに溢れた詞が印象的。ラヴ・ソングとして完璧。こんなに綺麗な音をしたヘヴィ・メタルを、私は他に知らない。

「北欧度」と「ハードロック度」と「商業度」。バンドが追求してきたこれらの要素を、絶妙のバランスでミックスした傑作です。
　透明感溢れるハイ・トーン・ヴォーカルと不思議な音階使いのギターがもの哀しさを湛えたメロディーに乗る様は、唯一無二の世界観。
　圧巻はラストの「WISDOM」。クラシカルな旋律をオペラチックに歌い上げていますが、ジャンルを超越した神々しささえ感じさせる名曲です。
　この作品で高評価を得たことで色気立ったのでしょうか。次作「REALIZED FANTASY」では「商業度」が空回りする凡作に。そしてバンドは低迷期に入ります。勿体ない。。。

　ジョー・リン・ターナーがコーラスに参加しているとのクレジット。聴いてもさっぱりわかりません。
