個人的には２曲目が最高。たたみかける様なリズムと切れ味のある音色群で迫力満点。今でも”マトリックス”みたいなカッコいいＳＦ映画のＢＧＭに使えそう。（高速疾走シーンとか格闘シーンにハマりそう。）お薦めです。
あとメロディアスな７曲目もいいですよね。

バウハウスと言うバンドはおれにはかなり奇妙で不可解なバンドだった、そのバンドの元メンツのソロアルバム。この感触はフィクスなどあまたの英国バンドの香りだ、シンプルマインズしかり、ある美学のもとにサウンドを構築してる、実に英国だ。ですごいのは彼の書く歌詞である。クールでインテレクチュアルだ。フィクスもそうだった。なかなか考えさせられる。声も妖しくて良い＝独特の雰囲気だ。こんな素敵なアルバムを聞かない手はない。哲学的な歌詞がやはりかなりいい。洋楽の衰退時期にこういうのはつらいが、これははずせない、緊張感と秩序の同居した素晴らしいパフォーマーとしての彼なりのポエットリーディング。体操が嫌いなあなたも聞きなさい。

発表当時の来日公演はグランドビートに中近東のフレーズがながれる
（９）で始まり、ピーターの低音の効いたVoに耳を奪われる（１）へとつながっていきました....。このアルバムはリズミックなダンスチューンとアコースティックなバラードが程よく並んでおり、前作よりもいぶし銀的な印象を受けます。しかし、この人は声そのものも魅力的ですが
、本当に,歌がうまい。特にライブで感じるのですが、オペラをみている気分に陥るほど表現力がゆたかで、彼の世界に引き込まれます。
最近は新作の国内版もでませんが、ぜひとも再来日してほしいものです
。　名盤。
