低音の女性ボーカルの走りとなったT-bozをメインボーカルとするTLCのデビューアルバムです。まだまだ少女の頃だった彼女たちの名作。
とにかく踊れます。ノリのいい楽曲、当時クラブでもよくかかっていた曲、「What About Your Friends」を中心としたよくできたアルバム。そうかと思うとしっとりと聴かせる「Baby Baby Baby」なんかは泣かせる名曲。これはかの名プロデューサーBabyfaceの曲です。これは全米でもポップスチャートで１位をとりました。私はこれを聴いて彼女たちのアルバムは全部そろえようという気になってしまいました。TLCならまずはこれを聴かないと。スーパースターの登場の瞬間です。
