超絶トリオによるスーパーセッションアルバム。超絶技巧兄弟イェンス＆アンダースにアランホールズワースが絡む、素晴らしい内容です。曲調はダークな感じですが、それがまたテンションを高めています。べースレスですが、充分イェンスのテクニックでカバーしてます。（ジョナスヘルボーグが参加していれば、もっと凄かったと思います。）

イングヴェイ・マルムスティーンとの共演で知られるイェンス＆アンダース・ヨハンソン兄弟とのガチンコ勝負です。最近のアランさんは彼名義のソロアルバムよりゲスト出演の方が評判がいいのですが、皮肉にもそれを証明してしまった１作です。いや、始めから最後までとにかくもの凄い音の圧力です。マルムスティーンとの共演でもこんな凄みは感じませんでしたが、ベテランと中堅（？）の意外な取り合わせがこんな迫力を生むとは！

アランさんのフレーズは相変わらずですが、強力なリズム隊に乗ったソロは最近にない迫力を感じます。例えは古いですが、ベック・ボガート＆アピスが登場したときの衝撃に似ています。でも、第２弾がないところがアランさんらしいんですよね。とにかくお勧めの１枚です。

これが普通じゃないのは、3人が顔を会わせないで共演してることでしょう

LA(アラン)
NY(ヤンス)
スウェーデン(アンダース)

3人でハードディスクの演奏データをやり取りして作られました

全般的にシンセベースがブリブリと心地よいです。ハモンドの音はエディ・ジョブソンを意識してますね

1〜9までアランが参加してます。7では珍しくブルースのソロが聴けます。8はマイナーブルース(しかしどっちも全然ブルージーじゃありません)

10はヤンスのみ

11は兄弟のみ。21分57秒の曲ですが、8分00秒から20分46秒まで全くの無音です。何を考えているのやら?
