　ギタ−インスト作品ははポップミュ-ジックに比べるとシェアはせまいかもしれないが、確実にファンやリスナーが毎年ついてくることはまちがいない。　このアルバムを聞いたのは実は最近なのだが、古臭さをまったく感じない。彼のフレ-ズセンスや卓越した楽曲などは驚かされるものがある。曲数は少ないがかなりの説得力のある作品の一つである。かっこいいギタ−を聞きたい方にはお勧めです。

5.0 out of 5 stars GREG HOWEのフュージョン路線第一弾, 2004/8/9
もう10年以上前の作品ですが、未だによく聴いています。
初めて聴いた時(大学生でした)、非常にショックを受けたアルバムで
もうギターをやめようかな、と思った程でした。
当時、その流れるようなフレーズは、きっと美しくストレッチした左手から
弾き出されているに違いない！と信じていたのですが、その後の研究により
実はレガートフレーズの殆どはタッピングと判明！、したのは良いのですが
しただけで、こんな風にはとても弾けません。
今夏来日の予定なので、生で見られる！と、今から楽しみにしています。

オタクな話はさておき、ギターオリエンテッドなフュージョン・アルバムと
しても中々な作品だと思います。
(フレーズは少しHoldsworth的、曲はもっとキャッチー、と言うか判り易いですが)

購入当時、気に入ってバイト先でもよくかけていたのですが、何回か
「これ何てアルバム？」とお客さんから聞かれた事がありますよ。

今やデニチェン、ヴィクターウッテンらとも共演し、世界最高峰のギタリストの１人となったグレッグハウの93年発表のセカンドアルバムです。サウンド的にはファーストアルバムがややファンキー路線だったのに対し、このアルバム以降、現在のフュージョン路線になります。聴き所はやはりグレッグハウの流れるようなギターフレーズ。曲自体がスピード感のあるものが多いことも相まって、聴いていて非常に心地の良いアルバムになっています。
デニチェン、ウッテンらと共演した最近のアルバムに比べると、メンツの問題もあり、完成度では劣るかも分りませんが、逆に、若々しさの感じられるアルバムになっています。
