91年のヨーロッパ・ツアーのライヴを収録した人気盤。ライル・メイズ、スティーヴ・ロドビー、ポール・ワーティコ、それにアーマンド・マーサルやペドロ・アズナールがいた時代の演奏だから、悪かろうはずはない。加えて選曲がものすごく魅力的だ。ECM 時代の代表曲<2>をはじめとするおなじみのナンバーを次々と演奏、しかもどの曲もチャーミングなので、ついついパット・メセニー・ワールドにはまり込んでしまうのである。基本的には『スティル・ライフ』から『レター・フロム・ホーム』に至る時代のコンセプトをライヴで再現したものだが、スタジオ録音と勘違いするほどのハイ・クオリティ・サウンドに驚かされる。演奏も素晴らしいが、同時に音質もこれまた素晴らしい。『トラヴェルズ』や映像作品で発売された95年の日本ライヴ、あるいは『シークレット・ストーリー・ライヴ』もそうだったけど、パットのライヴ作品というのは、どれも作品の質が高い。それはたぶん、本人がきちんと制作にタッチしているからだろう。（市川正二）
