オルタナティブロックを語る上で、外すことのできない存在であるＦＵＧＡＺＩの最初期のシングル集です。

その音は緊張感に満ちており、甘えと妥協のない生き方が音に現れているということがわかります。ＧＵＹがギターを弾いていないということもあって複雑に音が交わる曲もなく、演奏は荒削りな感じで音楽性もまだまだ凝り固まってないという印象を受けますが、その唯一無二な個性はこの最初期作品にも存在しています。

それぞれのメンバーがハードコアを経て、レゲエなどのさまざまな音楽を自分たちなりに取り入れ、それがこれまでに聴いたことのない形で表現されています。焦燥感からただただ疾走しまくっていたハードコア・パンクではなく、静かに抑えられた感情と爆発的な感情が見事なバランスを保ってうねりながら進んでいくという「唯一無二な音楽」です。

一切無駄がない
Fugaziはこのアルバムだけ好きです　Dischordのなかでもこのアルバムは異質です
　このアルバムでハードコアに決別といった感じです
GuyのやくざヴォーカルとBrendanのタイトなドラムがすばらしい

このCDが一番好き。
DVDも見たけど、みんな揃ってあんなに細いのにこれだけの音楽をやるパワーがどこから沸いてくるのか不思議。
