全然期待してない精神状態で、聴いてみて、案外良かったりすると、中々得した気分になる。

期待してないのに、何で買うの？
と言われれば、ただ単にザッパのアルバムを集めているため、期待していなくても、購入するという単純なファン心理のため。

しかし、僕の気持ちを気持ちよく裏切ってくれるクオリティが本作にはある。
オープニングの「ビリー・ザ・マウンテン」が一番の聴き所ではあるが、他の曲も粒揃い。
ザッパ感満載で、お風呂のお湯をいっぱいにして、ザッブ〜ンと入るような心地よさがある。

楽しんで聴きましょ！

フィルモアイーストのライブが好きな人は聴くべきです、フレディー＆エディによる大騒ぎ漫才型ライブ。1面大曲は動く山の話というとんでもなさ、しかしやはり催眠的な魅力に引き込まれていくでしょう。
B面は昔の曲なんかもやってくれてます。満足できると思いますよ

このアルバムのメインはビリーザマウンテンという珍しい物語調の大作（約24分）だ。しかもこの曲はライブ演奏だ☆。ダル~いテンポから始まるこの曲は、アメリカのローズモントという町の近くにたたずむビリーという生きている山と彼に根付いている妻で木のエセルがアメリカを街を旅するというストーリーだ。旅をしている最中ビリーはおかまいなしにいろんな施設を壊しまくる。曲調は何度もガラリとかわり、コミカルで２４分なんてあっという間に過ぎてしまう。（この曲は実際アニメ化される予定だったが叶わなかった）この大作の中にスチュードベイカーホックのダンスレッスンという子供向け（？）の体操のシーンがあって、ライブ中にザッパが掛け声をしながらメンバー一同が実際に体を動かしているのを想像するとおかしくてたまらなかった。zappa中級者向き☆☆。
