このＣＤを買った理由はただ一つ。。。ペギー・マーチの”Ｉ　Ｗｉｌｌ　Ｆｏｌｌｏｗ　Ｈｉｍ”のリッキー・ヴァージョンがどうしても聴きたくて。（この曲、ＬＰ”Ｆｏｒ　Ｙｏｕｒ　Ｓｗｅｅｔ　Ｌｏｖｅ”の最後に入っています）以前、やはり”オリジナルＬＰ２枚がＣＤ１枚に”を買ったことがあり、とてもがっかりしたことがあり（”Ａｎｏｔｈｅｒ　Ｓｉｄｅ　ｏｆ　Ｒｉｃｋ”と”Ｐｅｒｓｐｅｃｔｉｖｅ”でした。一曲も好きな曲がありませんでした）今回は期待しないで聴いてみました。すると。。。好きな曲がいっぱい！数曲知っている曲（”Ｇｙｐｓｙ　Ｗｏｍａｎ”，　”Ｓｔｒｉｎｇ　Ａｌｏｎｅ”、”Ｆｏｏｌｓ　Ｒｕｓｈ　Ｉｎ”）もありましたが、知らない曲のなかに大好きになった曲(“Ｉ　ＲＩＳＥ，Ｉ　ＦＡＬＬ”と“ＯＮＥ　ＢＯＹ　ＴＯＯ　ＬＡＴＥ”）も。驚いたことに嫌いな曲は１曲もありませんでした。リッキーのベスト盤には入っていない曲でこんなにリッキーらしい、心温まる/胸がキュンとする歌が存在していたとは。。。ちなみにＬＰ”Ｆｏｒ　Ｙｏｕｒ　Ｓｗｅｅｔ　Ｌｏｖｅ”と”Ｒｉｃｋ　Ｎｅｌｓｏｎ　Ｓｉｎｇｓ　Ｆｏｒ　Ｙｏｕ”は両方１９６３年にリリースされていますが、この年はリッキーにとって一番記念すべき/忙しかった年だったそうです。３月に”Ｆｏｒ　Ｙｏｕｒ　Ｓｗｅｅｔ　Ｌｏｖｅ”をレコーディングして、４月に結婚。８月に”。。。Ｓｉｎｇｓ　Ｆｏｒ　Ｙｏｕ”録音。毎週テレビ出演（リッキーの両親のＴＶショー”The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriett")、ライヴも年２００回以上、そして１０月にはＴｒａｃｙちゃんが生まれています。一番幸せだった頃のリッキーの声、最高です！　買ってよかった！
