映像化されているバランシン作品の中でも価値ある映像だと思います。
入手困難な状況がもったいない。

Theme and Variations, Apollo, Scherzo a la Russe, Union Jack, Suquere Dance, Walpurgisnacht Ballet, Vienna Waltzes, が入っています。バランシンはクラシックとモダンの中間といわれる作品なのでモダン初心者には理解しやすく楽しめます。音楽に合わせた動きが多く、ダンサーが止まったり歩いたりするのは少ないし、最後に群舞も全員一緒にヒュッテしたりと、アメリカ人が好きな内容に仕上がっていると思います。NCB以外にもルグリ等の世界のスターも招待されています。
