伊東屋のファンの私としては、歴史や企業としての考え方を見ることが出来て嬉しい1冊でした。
品物のカタログとしても案外使えたりして。お奨めです。

伊東屋のお店やブランドが好きな人のための本です。基本は定番商品のカタログ本。
有名人のコラムや社長インタビューを入れながら、お店や商品を紹介しています。

ページレイアウトや言葉遣いに上品さを感じますが、取り上げる文具の点数や解説の量が少なめです。すぐ読みきってしまいますし、伊東屋をよく訪れる文具好きにとっての目新しさがあまりないような。ただ、お店自体のことや伊東屋オリジナル商品については共感できます。

巻末に創業当初からの新聞広告が渡り資料として載っていて（よく残っていますね）、当時のハイカラな雰囲気が楽しめます。なにげにこの部分が一番よかったかも。
