何回も読まないとわからない作品です。
私も何度も読んでますが全てわかったとは言い難いです。
この本は一度読み終わっても、「読もう」とまた思います。
何度も何度もこの世界にハマってしまいます。
わが身を持て余すマリーと友だちをたずねてきたナオヤとの恋が切なくて綺麗です。

この物語は一筋縄でも二筋縄でも絶対に捕まえることのできない物語だと私は思います。
きっと、人によって絶対に感じるものが違うと思います。
私は絶対に人とは感じるものがみんな合わないと思います。
ナオヤはマリーの成長を止めた最後でなぜだか涙が溢れました。

あとはマリーの言葉の「しあわせになるって、かんたんなことね！」ですね。これは心に響きました。
そして。
この物語が物語の中にも出てくる「ゼラニウム」の花の花言葉を知った時に、本当の物語が見えてくると私は思います。

私はこの舞台を見ていないのですが、どんどん引き込まれて舞台を見たわけではないのにリアルに感じました。
一つ一つの言葉が凄く大切で登場人物の思いが染み込む様に伝わってきました。
人間の強さや脆さが静かに訴えられる様な作品でした。
舞台を見ていない方でも楽しむ事が出来ると思います。

ひとつひとつのシーンが、まるで夢を観ているかのように唐突で、突然話が飛びます。私は読んでいて「？？？」となりました。
でも、心に響くセリフや思いを馳せる状況がたくさんあったので又読んでみようと思います。
ん~、でも、考えさせられるような複雑な気持ちにはなったのだけれども、細部にわたりよく理解できない（説明が無い）事も多く不完全燃焼したので☆４つかな。
