田舎の良さ悪さを正確に捉えているこの本。田舎は良いことばかりではないのだと著者は痛切に語っている。がしかし、根底にあるのは風土への尊敬と愛着だろう。だからこそ批判もできるのだ。この本を読んだあと、すがすがしい気分になるのと同時に強烈に背中を押されていることに気づくだろう。
