もとから日経新聞に掲載されている「かんたん美味」欄のファンでしたが、書店で見かけてあまりにも使いやすそうな料理本になっていたので、１，２ともに購入しました。料理本は大好きなのですが、この本に掲載されているレシピはどれも、材料が少なくていいものばかり。実はこれは私が探しているレシピでした。「簡単レシピ」はたくさん出回っていますが、簡単な割に用意しなくてはならない材料が意外に多かったりします。料理をしない日もある私にとって、多種類の材料を買い揃えることは極力避けたいことなので、こういう材料をあまり買い揃えなくていいレシピ、大歓迎なのです。また、サイズも手ごろだし、外出時やお風呂にまで持ち込んでは「これも今ある食材でイケるなぁ」と楽しんでいます。

日経の土曜版に載っているので、毎週楽しみにしています。
結構、旬を抑えていて、よく作っています。
気に入ったものは切り抜いておいているのですが、切り抜きも汚くなってきたし、本を買ってみました。
ほんと簡単でおいしい！
これは　料理の苦手な人でも、うまく作れる！って思いますー。

料理研究家のものほど、味の真新しさ・新鮮味は全体的にない。しかし、一品に必要な食材・調味料の種類、作り方の説明文が私には程よく、食事作りのメニューに困った時などこの本に助けられている。
いたって気軽にお料理に取り掛かれる感じがこの本の強み。
季節ごとにお料理が掲載されていて、四季のうつろいが自然と感じられるので、一品ごとのコメントとともに読むとまた楽しめる。
すでに何品か、この本でお料理してしまった。
