自分で和食を作りたいなぁと思ってこの本を購入したのですが、本当によく使っています。筑前煮や肉じゃがなど定番料理はもちろんのこと、煮魚が本当に美味しく出来て嬉しかったですし、ちょっとした付け合わせも添えられるので見た目もよいです。料理のコツとその理由が簡潔に書いてあるのでとてもわかりやすいです。何より感動したのは卯の花炒り！こんなに美味しいものを作ってしまったら、もう市販品は買えません。あと切り干し大根やひじき、五目豆も好きな方は一度作ってみる価値はあります。最後に、市販の○○の素を使わないすき焼きの割り下やおでんの汁も載っているので便利です。

ベターホームの本はたくさん持っていますが、もっともよく使っている本はこれです。丁寧にだしを取って味噌汁をつくったり、レシピどおりに切干大根の煮物をつくったら、本当においしいです。

とても分かりやすいのでお料理初心者の方にオススメです。
和食って難しそうって思いますが、この本を見ればちゃんと作れます。
そして、お料理の基本が書かれているのでとっても便利です。
和食は一手間かけることでおいしくできるということがよくわかりました。
