人を大雑把に気の強い人と、弱い人に分けるとすれば、私は10年前までは後者でした。原因は、持って生まれた傾向と、過去の経験と、それに対する私の心の受け止め方の積み重ねだったのでしょう。もちろん気が強いと言っても、人の迷惑を顧みないのは論外ですし、一見気が弱そうでも、笑いに置き換えて、明るくスルスルと抜けられる人もいます。しかし私の場合はどうも外界の出来事を「ネバネバ」受け止めすぎて、心にわだかまりを溜め過ぎていました。ノイローゼ程ではないにしても、心理的にすぐ疲れていました。そんな時に出会ったこの本からは、「心の管理法」の重要性を学びました。著者は、心、肉体、そして気のそれぞれの役割、重要性を、丁寧に、噛んで含ませる如く、そして特筆すべきは漫談風の「べらんめい」江戸っ子口調で面白く説いています。その言葉には著者の体験に基づく真実があり、自分の心の動き、煩悶、とらわれ、迷い等からの自力の救済の可能性、否、絶対的必要性を説いています。私は自分の弱気をなんとかしようとする過程で禅にも関心を持っていました。著者は、日本人で初めてのヨガ体得者と紹介されていますが、私にはこれほど分かり易い禅の解説書もないと思えました。仏陀の悟りとは何だったのか。宗教とは何か。凡人が悟れるのか。著者は言います。「ただの石ころでも、磨けば光沢を放つ、磨かなければ、ただの石のままだ」。何度読んでも飽きない、勇気付けられる、慈悲に満ちた書です。

かつてこれほどの大人物が日本にいたことをとても誇りに思う。
この本に出会うまでいわゆるプラス発想のアメリカ型ニューソート理論を
追い求めていたが、あまりにその格差が激しいことに気づいた。

「本物の本」とは読むだけで「元気になる」本のことだと思う。
この本に出会えて人生が変わった。それぐらい貴重な私にとっての一冊だ。

価格は１万と高いが何度も何度も人生や病のときに助けられた。
この本を読んで助かったという人も多い。

中村天風自身が書いた本は、実は天風会の「新人生の探求」ほか数冊しか
ない。それは講演・ライブこそが魂を揺り動かすと天風が信じていたからだ。

今となっては、彼と会うことはできない。しかし「成功の実現」を読めば、

彼の講演会場に今まさにいるような感覚になり、生き方の根本から
改められるのである。分かりやすく、読みやすいという点で、
この本を第一番目にオススメする次第である。

名著を紹介するHPでこの本を知りました。
値段がわりと高価なこともあり、買うのに躊躇しましたが、今では
このシリーズをすべて読破したいと思っています。
人生哲学書はいろいろ読んでいますが、中村天風氏の右に出る方はいま
せん。
この本に出逢えたお陰で「積極的人生」を歩めるようになり、「人生まいた

とおりの花が咲く」が口癖になり、人を憎んだり、怒ったりしなくなった
自分が信じられません。
