著書が哲学者の言葉を引用して、人生につていの様々な事柄を
解説していく内容です。
中身はとても読みやすかったです。

あまり理解できなかったし、何を言いたいのか分からない本でした。
哲学自体が理解するのが難しいし、
何を言いたいのか分からない物なのかもしれないが・・・

印象に残ったのが、結婚している人は、していない人より
幸せと答える人が２倍いたという事です。

やはり、男は女。その通りだと思います。

自分探しのための、答えもヒントも書かれていない。
著者の言いたいことは、「死を思え（メメントモリ）」の一言で
片付くんじゃないの？
読後には、『もやもや感』と『むかむか感』が残った。
期待はずれでした。もう少し人生に役立つことを期待していたのに、残念。
死ぬまでの貴重な時間を無駄に費やしてしまった（笑）

哲学的な自己探求の啓発書かと思って買いましたが、偉大な哲学者の引用文のオンパレードになっていて、最後まで著者自身の哲学的思索は見られず、まったく「猿にラッキョウ」といった歯がゆい感じの本でした。

解説（状況説明）だけなら哲学ではありません。「自分は何も知らないと知った者が、最大の賢者である」（文中）とするなら、この本こそ最大の賢者が書いた本でしょう。この本よりも仏教哲学の方が深遠だと思います。「色即是空。空即是色」・・・（合掌）。
