今まで水をｺｯﾌﾟからｺｯﾌﾟに移してﾃｰﾌﾞﾙや床をを水浸しにしたら怒り、思いっきり走っていくと転ぶからと注意をしていましたが　そういう事が子供の運動能力の発達にとても大事なことだと　この本を読んで納得でき　寛大な気持ちで見守れるようになりました。この本のとおりに実践するのはムリな方が多いとは思いますが　少なくとも子供にとって何がいいことなのかがわかることができて良かったと思いました。　汚いとか　危ないとかいう長期的視野に立っていないその場限りの見方をやめることができただけでも　いい本を読んでよかったと思いました。

購入したのは子供が６ヶ月くらいだったと思います。この本には月齢別で赤ちゃんの運動プログラム（写真入り）や成長進度表がわかりやすくまとめられています。生後すぐに始めるプログラムなので出産前に買うべきだったと後悔しました。だめもとで最初から毎日実践したところ、２週間程でいろんな事が次々出来るようになって驚きました。確かに同じ月齢の子より何でも出来ることが早いのでびっくりされています。それぞれ簡単な事なのですが、毎日ほんの少しでも続けることが大切なようです。大変参考になった本です。

　自分が医療関係者ということもあり子供の発達には理解がありましたが、この内容には驚かされました。思いもしない方法だったのですが、確かに納得できる理論です。実践するには地道な努力や必要器具の作成など苦労が伴いますが、能力を開発するには当然のことでしょう。たとえ全てを実践できなくても、この知識があるだけで子供との関わりに変化があると思います。わが子が8ヶ月のときに購入しましたが、もっと早く出会いたかったとつくづく思います。
　早い段階での的確な導きが、いかに子供の身体能力に影響を与えるかについて、少しでも興味をもたれる方なら読む価値があると思います。
