　最近、芸能人が翻訳家や作家として参加するほど絵本がブームになっている。読み聞かしの大切さが再び注目されているのだ。

　世間には、ちょっとした飛び出す絵本は枚挙にいとまがないが、本書はまさに「開けてビックリ！！」である。飛び出し部分が複雑、かつ緻密で、そのうえ豪華ときている。その複雑さはまるで模型のようであり、絵の扉が開く仕掛けになっているところに緻密さが感じられ、本を全部開くとたまご型になって大人もビックリの豪華さだ。はっきりいってPOP UP絵本の領域を越えており、模型、あるいはプラモデルに近いのではないだろうか。
　内容は、１頁ごとに探す物が書かれていて、複雑な立体部分から探しだす楽しさがある。分かりやすくいうと、『ウォーリ−をさがせ！』の立体バージョンといった感じだ。

　多少、値は張るが、この絵本を見せたとたん、その場にどよめきが起き、子供は驚愕と羨望の眼差しで値段以上のリアクションしてくれるだろう。クリスマスプレゼントや誕生日プレゼントなどにピッタリ。

360度ひらく絵本はやはり希少もの。値段も安すぎ。女性こどもには喜ばれるし、複数冊買っておくとちょっとしたパーティーで必ずや人気者になれる！
