これは究極のティータイムです。
そもそもお茶の時間にトラが来ることが異常事態。
でもおはなしは淡々と進むのです。
優雅な雰囲気の漂う、
これぞまさしくイギリスの正統的なお茶の時間！
それにソフィーもおかあさんも、当のトラだって、
なんて優雅な表情なんでしょう。
ラストを取りまとめるお父さんの落ち着きぶりも見事！
最初から終わりまで春のあたたかな風がそよいでいるみたいです。
子ども達は最後の「さようなら・・さようなら・・・」が
気に入ったみたいです。

ある日の午後、お茶の時間になんと、トラが登場！そんなーと驚いちゃうけど、ゆるせちゃう楽しいお話し。大好きなので、洋書版も購入しました。トラの視線に注目です！

トラさんが可愛いです。
ソフィーと彼女のお母さんは、突然来た珍客にも動じるどころかお茶に招いてしまうなんて！　ステキすぎます！！
あまりにも非日常的な話のはずなのに、読んでいると、いつの間にか、ワクワクしながら「トラさん、ウチにも来ないかな？　ウチの冷蔵庫には××があるのになぁ…」などと考えてしまいます。
日本語版・英語版の両方を持っていますが、個人的には英語版「The Tiger Who Came to Tea」のほうが好きです。英語が得意じゃない人でも読めますので、そちらも併せて読んでみてはいかがですか？
