最近まで興味がなかったのですが、DVDの賢者の石を見てから好きになりました。
大きい方は手を出すのに戸惑ってましたが携帯版が出ていたのを知り早速、購入しました。
小説は劇場版と違って省かれた部分がなく、楽しんで読ませてもらってます。
アズカバンの囚人の文庫化も決まってるので、この勢いで続きも出して欲しいです。

シリーズ第一作目の「ハリー・ポッターと賢者の石」に比べて、"謎解き"の要素が増していると思う。
今回は、50年前にハグリッドが退学処分になった事件の真相に迫っている。
前作を読んで、ハグリッドの人の良さなどから、「彼が退学になったのは、きっと止むに止まれぬ事情があったに違いない！」と思っていた私としては、

その事情を知って、ホッと胸を撫で下ろしたのだった。

また、学校で起こる恐ろしい事件に、ハリーの親友・ハーマイオニーが巻き込まれ、
彼女のために奔走する、ハリーとロンの友情にも胸を打たれた。
ロンの妹・ジニーの救出に向かったハリーに次々に襲いかかる罠。
ラスボスとの戦いには、手に汗握る緊張感が伝わってきた。

また、本作で登場した、ロックハート先生のあまりのダメっぷりには、大いに笑わせてもらった。
こういう先生が身近にいたら、ムカついてしょうがないんだろうけど、物語の中ではなんだか憎めないキャラなのだ。

そして相変わらずの、心躍る魔法や道具の描写にはため息が出るばかりである。
読み出したら止まらない。
ぜひ、時間に余裕のある時にご一読を。

『ハリーポッター、文章が長すぎて途中で挫折しちゃいました』

なんてよくTVでアナウンサーが言ったりしてますよね。本当は読んでないんでしょ？と返したくなります(笑)だってこの本を途中まで読んでおいて最後まで読まないなんて信じられない。大抵ハリポタを馬鹿にする人はハリポタを読んでません。読めば絶対ハマります！長い文章は嫌い、とか本は読まない、なんて人も絶対。まずは読み始めなきゃ面白さは分からないですよね。
２巻では、私はロックハート先生が大好きです。憎めない、最高のキャラクターです。そして今後の巻に通じる様々な伏線。映画を観て、また読み直したくなりました。
