~闘病記、それも難病ALSとあればそれだけで相当に説教臭くシビアなものを覚悟してしまう。しかし松本さんは明るい。大変にポジティブになれるのにはそれまでの開拓農民、国の減反政策に立ち向かう行動者としての生活の張りと、そして何より、この本で「悪妻」と呼ばれてしまった奥さん（写真から類推するに相当の肝っ玉母さんだ）の陽気さ、強さがそれを支えて~~いる。サワヤカに読めてしまうのにちゃんと考えさせるところは考えさせられる、不思議なパワーを感じる本。看護介護に興味のある人たち、神経内科を志す人たち必読です。~
