もともと、「百歳王」として刊行され、「笑顔のクスリ　百歳王」と題名をリメイクされ再刊行されました。

写真を撮った小野庄一さんのアングル力。
それ以上に、登場される方たちのコメントが味があって素晴らしい。


「むかしはお嬢様。いまはぼけばばあ。でもね、年寄りがぼけなきゃ若者の価値がないからね」
そう、笑顔で語るおばあちゃん。

「今の人は不幸です。明治生まれの私たちとは鍛え方が違います」
と、凛とした表情で背筋を伸ばして語るおばあちゃん。


「１００年を超えて始めて知る花がある」
そう語るには１００年間の経験が必要なのですね。

１００年間を生き抜いてきた人たちの表情。
その表情や、笑顔には、１００年間を生き抜いてきたという自信と、誇りを感じます。その表情と言葉には計り知れない重みもありますね。

私は、まだ３０数年の人生で、まだ、この笑顔を手に入れるには６０年以上の時を必要とすると思うと、その日を迎えた時ってどんなだろうかとふと思います。

何度も見返すたびに、今日もどこかでこんな素敵な笑顔が弾けているのだと思うと心が満たされます。
