ドイツのゲーム賞を受賞したボードゲームを
中心に後半はカードゲーム賞受賞作品も紹介されています。
特筆すべきは本のサイズも小さく（新書＋α程度）
１作品に１〜２ページ程度しか
スペースを割いていないに関わらず、
ゲームの内容がありありと頭に浮かぶところです。
白黒写真を数枚掲載しただけで、是非購入して
プレーしてみたいと思わされてしまうのは
きっと著者の文章力が凄いんでしょうね。

ドイツの四大ゲーム賞を取ったゲームの詳細を特集しています。
また、有名デザイナーの紹介文も何人分か記されています。
これからボードゲームを集めようとする人にはオススメですが、
絶版になっているゲームも多いので注意してください。

数百、数千のボードゲームの中で面白い作品を探すのは非常に困難です。
そんなときひとつの基準になるのが、これらの賞の受賞作です。
中には自分の嗜好に合わないゲームもあるかもしれませんが、
全体的にハズレは少ないと思います。
この本に各ゲームのルールや面白さが紹介されているので
気に入ったゲームを通販で買ってみるのもいいでしょう。

　ボードゲームのハンドブックの決定版です。過不足なく、それぞれのゲームの紹介がされています。

　他のレビュアーの方がお書きのとおり、欲しくても手に入らない、手に入れるにはプレミア価格、というのがたいへん問題ではありますが（笑）。
　もちろん読むだけで楽しめますし、ゲームを見る目が養える、と思います。
