　信じられないような陰惨な事件の報道にも、いつの間にか慣れっこにな
っている自分に気付いてぞ〜っ！　慌ただしい時間と溢れんばかりの情報
に押し流されて、ただただ目の前しか見えていない気がします。
　この本を手に取って、忘れかけていた大切なものを思い出しています。
子どもの頃のゆっくりとした優しい時の流れ、日差し、匂い、音…。子ど
もと頬を寄せて絵本を読んだ頃の温かな気持ち｡。
　絵本が心のお薬だとすれば、この本は処方箋かも…。私自身はそろそろ
子育てを卒業しますが、心が少し弱った時、迷子になりそうな時、これか
ら何度も何度も読み返すでしょう。
　絵本を読まないという人も、きっと心が柔らかになる１册です。

文庫板でなくて、新書版でなくて、叢書ですって。
どこでも、いつでも、読めるのがいいですね。
どこからでも読めます。でも、始めから通して読むと、作者の絵本や、子供や、人間への細やかな優しさが伝わります。
私、電車の中で読んでいて、とんでもなく遠い駅までっていました・・・没頭できるのだ！絵本まわりの人達、子供まわりの人達　必見ですよ。

子どものために絵本を選ぶときってすごく迷います。
書店でも、図書館でも、そしてアマゾンでも・・数多とある絵本の中から、子どもの心の成長にいい本を選べないものかと思った時に、この本と出会いました。
それから数か月、ここに挙げられている絵本を読み進めています。
著者のいう「たましいを揺さぶる」というのが実感でき、絵本をいとおしく思えるようになりました。
子どもにいい絵本を選びたいんだけどという方にも、昔読んだ絵本を読み返してみたいと思っている大人のためにもおすすめの一冊です。
