   小学6年生のサツキと4歳の妹メイが引っ越してきたおんぼろな家の隣には、遠く見上げるほどに大きなクスノキの森があった。やがて2人はその森の主である「へんないきもの」トトロと出会い、胸躍る体験をすることになる…。

   かつてはこんなにも豊かだった日本の自然と、それに畏敬の念をもちながら暮らす生き方のすがすがしさ。そんなテーマを夢あふれる作品に仕立てたのが、この『となりのトトロ』だ。『ルパン３世カリオストロの城』『風の谷のナウシカ』などを手がけ、アニメファンの間ではすでにカリスマとなっていた宮崎駿監督の存在を一般に知らしめた作品でもある。

   他人への優しさを忘れない人々、両親の言葉ひとつひとつに込められた愛情、何げない日常の1コマがドキドキするものに変わるその瞬間。どの場面を見てもみずみずしく、そして懐かしい。トトロの姿に子どもは目を輝かせ、大人は心が洗われる、まさに世代を超える名作と言えるだろう。（安川正吾）

昭和３０年代なのでしょうか。いつ見ても懐かしさが沸き上がる風景です。
今もどこかに、同じようなところがあるような気がする、そんな親近感あるトトロの世界が、私はすきです。
日本人の心のどこかに誰もが持っている、自然を愛し、尊ぶ世界がたっぷり詰まっていて、いつ見てもゆっくりと満たされる、そんなアニメであると思います。

　普通に「となりのトトロ」のＤＶＤを買ったのと同じ値段で買えて、フィギュアまでおまけでもらえるなんて。このフィギュアも市販されているわけではなく、そこそこの価値があると思います。こんなのがあるなんて知りませんでした。

　「となりのトトロ」の話は昭和30年頃の懐かしい田舎風景を良く描き込んでいるし、45歳以上くらいの人ならば郷愁を覚えるものではないかと思います。扱っているテーマも親子のほのぼのした関係や自然との共生など。当時の難病だった結核なども題材として扱われていますが教育的価値もかなりあるように思います。

“まず最初に、「となりのトトロ」という作品をこよなく愛していて、なおかつハウルも好きであるならば、文句無く☆5の価値があるでしょう!!”



金曜ロードショーでやってたのを見て、トトロはあらためて素晴らしい映画だと思います!!!

ただ、ハウルは要らないっす…(苦笑)
先週のやはり同じ時間にテレビでやってて初めてハウル見ましたが…、個人的な感想「監督が自分の世界に入り過ぎてる」と思いました。
説明が不足していて悪い意味でエヴァ的で(これは千と千尋も)、無駄にテンポが早いとしか自分には感じられませんでした。

個人的にそんなハウルのフィギュアが付いてると言うだけで☆1です。
「どうせ付けるならトトロのフィギュア付けてくれ!」って個人的には思います。

まぁ無駄な情けで☆一つ多めにしときます。
