いつだって勇気と元気をいっぱいくれるピッピは昔から私のヒーローです。　トミーとアンニカみたいに、毎日ピッピに会いにごたごた荘へ行けたらどんなに幸せかと思いますが、でもこの絵本さえあればいつでも好きな時にピッピに会えます。　ピッピにはいろんなバージョンがありますが、やっぱりインゲル・ニルソンはまさにピッピそのもの。
本文は実写版のストーリーに基づいていて、子供には勿論のこと、大人が読んでもわくわくするような冒険の世界に誘ってくれます。
おばあちゃんになってもずっと手元に置いて大切にしたい一冊です。

私はかつて放送されていたピッピを知っているので、うれしくてうれしくて懐かしく夢中になって読みすごく満足しています。
小学一年生と四才の娘には、本だけだと　伝わらないこともあるような気がしました。
それだけ素晴らしい作品なのです。
