もともと著者のHPを見ていたのですが、本になったと言うことで買って、自分でも簡単に作れそうなものを選んで作ってみました。実際に作ってみると、この素材はこういう材料からこういう風に出来ていたんだという発見があってなかなかに面白いです。出来たものの味に関しては、やはり自分で作るのがどこの何よりもおいしいです。ちょっと風変わりな料理本ですが、料理好きの方にはオススメです・

これは本当に買って良かったです。
写真がないのに、見ているだけで楽しいです。
調味料、といっても塩や砂糖の作り方から載っている
ので、本当に得した気分。
アレコレ試して、自家製生活にどっぷりはまってみたいと
思わせてくれる本です。

保存食の本はいろいろ読んできましたが
のっけから「サトウキビから砂糖を作る」というのにはびっくりさせられました。
定番の味噌やラー油、チャーシュー、かまぼこなどから
オイスターソース、かつお節、ライスペーパー、焼き麩、
モッツァレラチーズなどはかなりチャレンジングな内容。
手作り麹室に二度びっくり。
レシピ本というより、チャレンジ本。
子どもの夏休みの宿題に、大人の「趣味」としてもかなりいけてます。
サイトより見やすいと思いますが、イラストは趣味の分かれるところです。
