よくある現役官僚による国際小説を期待してはいけない本です。本書は中国に関する考察のあと、何通りかの中国の引き起こす戦争を短編で描いています。あくまでもありうるシナリオとして書かれているので、読んでおもしろくはありません。最後は中国に関するＥＵのあり方に対して批判する考察で終わっています。本書は中国は単純に経済的友好関係をアメリカと結んで満足するという考え方をしている政治家に対する警告書です。しかしシナリオに出てくる大統領の情けないこと。○主党の大統領候補を言っているのですかね。日本の描写はひどいものです。あけっなく中国に壊滅させられるだけです。日本がいかにアメリカにおいて位置づけが低いか思い知る中身です。あくまでもアメリカ人が中国をなめていると痛い目を会うのでアメリカよＥＵよ注意しろという警告書です。

　　日本の政治家と中国ビジネスを展開する財界人に推薦します。
中国は日中友好などと言っている傍ら､毎年､年率10%を超える軍
拡を続け､着々と戦争の準備を進めています。著者は中国が起しう
る６つの戦争シナリオを展開していますが、この中でも台湾への武
力侵攻は、客観的な事実（法整備、核ミサイル配備等の軍事整備、
政治家の発言）が既に避けがたい段階に入ったことを物語っていま
す。日中･米中戦争に展開するかは日米の対応如何に依存します。
　　中国による台湾､それに続く、尖閣諸島､そして沖縄への侵攻に
備えた国家防衛のシナリオの制定及び法的整備は何より急務です。
そもそも論として中国を軍事大国化させたのは日本のＯＤＡ資金と
先端エレクトロニクス工場の移転による技術流出であることを日本
人は深く認識しなければなりません。
