~恋月姫の３冊目の写真集ですが、私は「人形姫」「震える眼蓋」よりこの「月の神殿」の方がずっと好きです。ハニエルタイプの少し成長した感のある（しかし以前のタイプの妖艶さは減り、清楚ささえ感じられます）少女人形が主になっていて統一感があり、物語性が濃くなっています。恋月姫自身が撮りおろした写真というのも私にとっては好みでした。ミルキイ・~~イソベさんの装幀も美しく、静謐で綺麗なものが好きな方にはお薦めです。~

これまでに出された二冊の本とは少し雰囲気が違うような気がしました。
「人形姫」や「震える目蓋」では、恋月姫ドールの持つ様々な表情が非常に多岐に渡って収録されていたのですが、
この本は良く言えば内容が統一的に、
やや悪く言えば、似たような感じのものが多くなっています。
過去出版された二冊と同じ、またはその延長線上とは思わないほうがいいと思います。
単に可愛かったり綺麗だったりするお人形を求めてこの本を手に取ると、近寄りがたさを感じるかもしれません。
美しいことには変わりないし、いいと思ったお人形も収録されていますが、個人的には前の本の方が内容的にもボリュームを感じました。
また余談ではありますが、今回撮影したのは佐吉さんではなく恋月姫と他の方になっています。
雰囲気が違って感じられたのはそのせいかもしれません。

恋月姫の写真集を初めて買いました。
前々から気になっていた作家でしたが、期待に充分応える美しい写真集です。
清純かつ麗しい、凛とした少女たち。
映画「ピクニック・アット・ハンギングロック」をふと思い出しました。
独特のエロティシズムをかもした作品です。
