美波は小学４年生。お兄ちゃんと二人で仲良く暮らしている。
いつも元気な笑顔の裏に、誰にも言えない秘密があった。
小さな両手に抱えきれないほど膨らんだ不安と葛藤。
少女愛、家族、友情という漫画でよく扱われる素材を、真正面から突き詰めて問い直す問題作。
最後まで読んだ人がどう思ったのか、いろんな人の意見を聞いてまわりたくなった。

それはそうと、このオビは反則ですよね（＾＾；）

心が痛くなる漫画。
「父親は失踪し、小学生の妹が親友と関係を持ったのを知った主人公の兄。
　だけど真相は……」
さくっと紹介すれば、この程度。
ただ、これが重く、痛い。とてもとても。
この物語には甘さはなく、優しさもなく、そして救いもない。
家族愛も、親友の裏切りも、少女の恋も描写しきってみせた傑作。
続きが読みたいけど、でもやっぱり読みたくない、と思わせる漫画ではないかと。

小さくても女性はみな「女」なのだ、と強く思わせる作品。

小学４年生の妹「美波」と、大学生の兄「柾樹」を中心に、家族という存在の大切さと
人を「好きになる」という行為について、禁忌を絡めた、独創的な視点で描かれている。

版画を思わせるようなその絵柄に、一般的な漫画と違う印象を持つ人もいるかもしれないが

簡単に言葉で言い表せないような、深いテーマを持つこの作品には、とても良く合っていると思う。
この作品を読んで、人を好きなるという行為と、愛情というものについて
また、好きな相手を「知ろうとする努力」そして「本当の優しさ」についても考えずにはいられなくなりました。

女性は年齢がいくつであっても、男性には理解し難いものであり、同時に愛おしいものであると感じました
人の内面を鋭く描いた、とても素晴らしい作品で、強くおすすめしたいと思います。
