ブルーハーツ、ハイロウズ、クロマニヨンズ、そしてソロと他者への提供曲、ヒロトの作詞曲すべてを収録した１冊。シンプルな構成で、余計な演出の一切ない、言葉を大事にした作り。
中学、高校、大学と、ずーっとヒロト＆マーシーの言葉に励まされてきた世代にとって、この詞集は画期的。大人になって、音楽を聴くという行為が遠のいている人でも、パッと開けば、そこにはやさしくて強くて愛しいメッセージ。あのころ、心が折れないように勇気付けてくれた、ヒロトの言葉をすぐ側に置いておけるわけで。
この本と、自分の脳内にメロディがあれば、いつだってどこだってヒロトを身近に感じることができるのである。無人島に持っていきたいアイテム第一位に急上昇確実。
ガッツリへこむことがあったときには、『人にやさしく』や『情熱の薔薇』や『日曜日よりの使者』の詞にちりばめられた、もっとも大事なことを胸に刻み直せばいい。自分を奮い立たせたいなら『少年の詩』や『世界のまん中』でエネルギーを補給すればいい。
改めて、活字で読み直すと、本当に、ヒロトはすごい。こんなにシンプルに、かっこつけずに、大事なことを歌えるヒロトの神っぷりに乾杯。

ページをめくる手がとまる。
知らず知らず歌っている自分がいる。嬉しい時、哀しい時、落ち込んだ時、歌った詩(うた)が詰まった一冊。
余計な装飾がなくてヒロトの詩に入り込める造りになっている点もおすすめ。
星5つじゃたりないや。

甲本ヒロトさんのいる今に生まれてこれたことに感謝します。
僕がまだ学生だった頃…、ヒロトさんの詩に幾度となく励まされ勇気づけられた(TδT)ヒ・ロ・トがいたからここまで来られた。まさにそのとおりっ!!
『日曜日よりの使者の詩』 全詞集 ありがとう。。
