私としてはこの本は面白いところもあり、そうでないところもあり、といった感じでした。なぜこのような中途半端な評価なのかというと、ひとえに
私自身の不勉強のいたすところが大きいと思います。
だからちゃんとガンダムの世界を知り尽くしているファンが読んだら面白いはず。
この本の中でシャアについて語っている人たちは必ずしも
みんな昔のガンダムやシャアが特別好き、というわけではありません。
語られる話の内容もシャアから離れて当時の時代背景や他のアニメ、
自分自身の苦労話、後の新しいガンダム作品にまで及び、
初心者の私には話についていけないところが多かった、というのが正直なところ。

でも、「シャアファンをわくわくさせよう」という心意気は大いに感じました。表紙を開いてすぐに、6ページにわたってシャアのカットをバックにして、いろいろなキャラクターがシャアについて語っているセリフが
紹介されています。（初代・Z・逆シャアと2ページずつ使っているのがまた心憎い）
それから、「シャア専用トリビア」ということで、シャアに関する豆知識が7編にわたって
まとめられていて、「へえ~」と思うこと多数。

肝心のシャアに関するトークに関しては、すごく共感できるところもあり、
「それは考えすぎじゃ？」と思うところもありました。
それにしても、シャア1人をテーマにしたこんな本を作らせてしまうなんて、
さすがスーパースターですね、シャアは。

さすが、シャア・アズナブル。とうとうこんな本まで作らせるとは。
シャアに関するいろいろなひとの意見が書かれているが、合間に書かれているシャアトリビアとか、注がかなりイイ。
最後の参考文献がハンパじゃないし、富野の各メディアに対してのシャアに対する発言集も面白かった。

そうそう、ダカールの演説やアクシズ落としの前の演説も掲載されているので、資料としてもＧｏｏｄです。
