クオリティの高いFLASH作品を多数公開しているポエ山氏が監修しているFLASH MX2004の本…と聞くと、高度なテクニック満載の中上級者のためのものと思われがちだが、中身は初心者向けの入門書。構成も非常にオーソドックスだが、特徴を挙げるならばやはりサンプルにポエ山氏のキャラクターが多数使われているという点だろう。他の入門書では退屈で今ひとつモチベーションが上がらないという人も、ポエ山氏の作品やキャラクターが好きならば、まずはこの本から入ってみるといいかもしれない。章ごとに細かく区切ってあるため、無理なく読み進められる点も評価したい。

「あの有名Flash"qiono"の作者による入門書！」…と謳ってはいるものの、中身はごく普通の入門書。

ポエ山氏によるコラムや、間接アニメーション製作に特化したレクチャーを期待して
そのあまりにも無難な内容に肩を落とした人も多いのではないでしょうか。

とはいえ、入門書としてはなかなか丁寧でわかりやすい部類に入ると思いますので

Flashをこれからはじめようという初心者の方は、「おしえて!!Flash」シリーズかこの本か、
見比べてみて自分に合いそうなほうを選ぶといいと思います。

FLASHアニメ製作がしやすくなる構成で、ソフトの使い方が載ってるFLASH入門書。です。
出てくる絵が全てポエ山キャラクターなのが見た目に楽しい本。

初心者が有名職人さんのようなアニメムービーをこの本だけで作れるか？
…といえばそれもまあ無理だと思うけれど、絵を描いてそれを動かすくらいは出来るようになると思います。

この本には使い方が分かってくると知りたくなってくる部分
（シーンの繋ぎ方・カメラワーク・演出…etc）については載ってません。
あくまで基礎なので、ある程度Flash出来る人が買う必要は無いと思います。

ポエ山さんらしく、ゴノレゴの声の秘密が巻末に載っています。
ノウハウ的な情報はそれくらいですね。
