細かい部分では予測のはずれた部分もありますが、筆者がこの本を出版したときに「世界恐慌が起る」という予測に対して、多くの人が「全くないとはいえないが、2008年にはないだろう」といっていました。かくいう私も、藤原氏が政財界から一目置かれているとはいえ、少々極端すぎる予測だと思っていました。しかしながら現実的には、藤原氏の予測は大きくは外れていないように思います。信じるか信じないかは別として、藤原氏の予測は頭の片隅においておくと良いかもしれませんね。

衝撃的なタイトルから推し量れる通り、中味もやはり誇張表現が目立つ。何度も文中に登場する今年２月末の世界同時「暴落」。確かに上海8.8％の下げは大きく、世界を席巻したが、上海自体が３月中に急落前のレベルに戻している。また、世界のほとんどの地域で４月中に下落前のレベルをあっさり更新し、その後も上げ続けている。戻せていないのは日本くらいのものだ。執筆中に筆者は充分それを知っていたろうが、「中国発の世界バブル崩壊」に固執したため、そのまま刊行したという印象である。（5/30にも上海は6.5％下げ、周りを焦らせた。しかし、米国が上げたため翌日の日経は自信を取り戻し、＋287円となった）

ただ、内外の政治・戦争・宗教・歴史などすべてを包含して先を見る姿勢はさすがにプロのアナリストである。我々素人が読むぶんには勉強になる点が多々あると言えるだろう。また、はっきりと期限を決めて「世界バブル崩壊が起こる」と言い切っているところがすごい。もし現実にならなければ著者の信用は大きく失墜するのであるから、これは極めて勇敢な言動である。

私はもちろん、すぐには筆者の勧める通りには行動しないが、今後の投資態度に若干は影響する本であったと思う。

全く何を言っているのか、まるでこの世の終わりのように。つまらないそのもの。ごみ箱に捨てた。ど〜したの〜この人？だいたいもう極端に日本国破産みたいなこと言う連中、ある意味危険だ。その手の英語でいうＳｃａｒｅ　Ｔａｃｔｉｃｓ脅し手段で洗脳して集団自殺とかする宗教団体あるではないか。とくに田舎暮らし薦めるみたいなこという輩は赤信号。
私の両親は戦争も経験し、戦後の大インフレも経験し、国債など紙屑になるから買うなと言っていた世代だが、強くたくましく生き抜いた。そんな人間愚かじゃない。もしこの手を読んで心配するひとでもいたらと思ったがまあ世間の人はそんなバカじゃないだろう。
