日本は借金で首が回らなくなり、やがてハイパーインフレがやってくる・・・だけでは危機を煽るだけのあまたの類似書とかわりがない。イラクで泥沼化する米国のブッシュ再選、アラファト亡き後のパレスチナ、崩壊が始まったとされる北朝鮮、投機熱にうかれる中国、頻発する地震や洪水。何が起こってもおかしくない今の世の中。何かが起き始めるのが2005年。してみると破綻するのは国家ではなく資本主義という今のシステムではないのか。
そんななかで為替、株、商品、不動産はどうなる。いまやっておくことは資産を守ることなのか、本当に今すべきことは何なのか。生きていく上での指針というものをひとりひとりが考えるべきときなのかも知れない。

いろんな意味でイマイチです。素直な気持ちとして残念です。何となくこの手の本が売れ筋なので、作者と出版社がその波に乗ってみた作品という感じがしました。戯言の連発であまり参考になるとは思えません。それ自体は面白くないと言えなくもないので評価は★３つにしておきます。

ややもすると「狼が来るぞー」と叫びつづける狼少年とだぶって見えたりもす
るが、大きな世界の潮流として考えれば10年間という時間はそう長いもので
はないのかもしれない。「世界メガ・トレンド」（1994）以来の著者の主張
は一貫している。破綻の先に見える、ユダヤ的金銭感覚とは対照的な、地域に
根ざした人と人とのつながりを大切にする御用達経済への見通しは、暗闇の先
にある希望である。その希望をつないでくれている著者の存在がうれしい。

北朝鮮についての見方が新鮮だった。
「多くの日本人は、世界中が北朝鮮を『悪の帝国』と誤解している。だが、北
朝鮮と戦おうとしている国は、アメリカと日本しかいない。……金正日は、北
朝鮮内部では穏健派であるというのが、私の見方である。……いまは金正日の
権威をもってして、静かに北朝鮮を変えていくしかないと、ほとんどの国が思
っているのである。」

平穏に慣れていた日本人にとって、たしかに「拉致」の事実はショッキングで
あった。しかし、拉致問題で、私も含め日本中が沸き立っていた頃、80歳に
なる知人が「むかしは人さらいなんて日本でもよくあったことなんだけどな」
とつぶやいた言葉がいつまでも心に残った。考えてみれば、爆弾での人殺しと
拉致とでどちらが悪質か、誤解を恐れずに言えば、生かされているだけでも拉
致はまだましなのだ。そんな思いが芽生えかけたときに出会ったのがこのた
び、著者の北朝鮮に対する見方だった。

何が大切かを自分の感覚に立ち返って確認し、そこから暮らしのあり方を組み
立てなおす時代なのだと思う。そうすると案外、頭はユダヤ的金銭思想に侵さ
れてはいても、日本人の実際の暮らしは御用達経済感覚でなりたっているわけ
で、破綻の先、そこのところに光が当たるようになるのであるならば、著者の
言うように、日本の将来は決して暗いものではない。
